laska BackCountry Guides are a team of dedicated industry veterans based in the town of Valdez and fly in the Chugach Mountains. Guests are just minutes away from the endless glaciers that have made Valdez heliskiing world famous.

A new, state of the art heliskiing hangar is located at the Valdez Airport, just minutes outside of town. The building has a guestlocker room, commercial kitchen, dining mezzanine with lounge, retail shop, guide room, and of course, room to store 2 A-Star helicopters.

Your day will start and end at the hangar. No need to drag your gear back and forth, you can leave everything in one secure space. Thisfacility was designed to support and enhance the greatest days of your life.
